ϳԹ scoop multiple awards at FE First Awards

ϳԹ’s Marketing, Communications and Events teams celebrated last night after being recognised in various categories at a prestigious national awards event (29/1).

The college group were nominated in four categories at the FE First Awards, which took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Birmingham.

On the night, the team:

  • Were highly commended in the Events Management Award category for the events held for the Coronation Cocktails, Armed Forces Covenant signing and their High Sheriff celebration event at Merrist Wood College.
  • Were highly commended in the Targeted Recruitment Campaign category for their work on a 16-18 recruitment campaign.
  • Won a Silver in the Green Marketing Award (Sustainability Impact) category for their work on their digital prospectus.
  • Won the Rising Star Award for the hard work of Anisha Bryan, Alumni Officer for ϳԹ Alumni.

Peter Reynolds, Group Director ofSales, Marketing and Student Admissionsat ϳԹ, expressed his excitement about the team’s achievement on the night.

He said: “Being shortlisted for multiple categories at the FE First Awards is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and creativity of the entire Marketing, Communications and Events team at ϳԹ.

“We are proud of our commitment to providing exceptional education experiences and making a positive impact on our students and the communities we serve. This recognition tonight reflects our ongoing efforts to excel in various aspects of education, events management, sustainability, and alumni success.”

ϳԹ has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in education and has implemented various initiatives to enhance the student experience. The college’s events management, targeted recruitment campaigns, and sustainability efforts have all contributed to this well-deserved recognition.

The Rising Star Award for Anisha Bryan, Alumni Officer at ϳԹ, highlights the outstanding achievements of individuals who have made significant contributions to the college community and beyond.

She said: “I’m thrilled and really grateful to be recognised at the FE First Awards with the Rising Star Award. Thank you to the CMN for a brilliant evening.

“I’m proud that my work to create and establish ϳԹ’s alumni network in February 2023 has been recognised in this way. It’s been great meeting and working with all our former students and building our alumni community with ϳԹ Alumni.”
